Mary Halleran, BHSc., DCh.
Mary opened the clinic in May 2022.
Mary earned her degree in Health Sciences at the University of Western Ontario. She then went on to complete her studies in Chiropody at Michener Institute of Applied Health Sciences. She graduated with honours in 2018. She opened Bowmanville Foot & Orthotic Clinic in May 2022.
Since graduating, she has worked in a variety of settings and has acquired many unique skills. She currently works in Bowmanville and Peterborough. She is passionate about diabetic foot care and education as a means of preventing diabetic foot complications. She also enjoys performing ingrown toe nail surgery to give her patients permanent relief from this painful problem. Custom orthotics are another area of special interest.
In her spare time, Mary enjoys participating in sports, spending time with friends and family, and walking her beloved fur-baby.
She is available for appointments on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Brooke Mitchell, BHSc., DCh.
Brooke Mitchell is a Registered Chiropodist in good standing with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario (COCOO). Brooke received her Bachelor of Health Sciences degree in Kinesiology (Honours) from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology in 2014. Brooke then attended the Michener Institute of Education by UHN, where she completed her post-graduate studies in Chiropody and graduated in 2017. Since graduating, she has had the opportunity to expand her skills through work in both public and private settings.
Brooke offers a wide variety of foot care services, while placing an emphasis on preventative foot care and education with a special interest in diabetic foot care, wound care, and injury management. Brooke continues to actively participate in continuing education to incorporate the most current and innovative concepts into her practice.
